About The Coalition

The MJCF Coalition:

A Movement for Families & Communities

The MJCF Coalition is a grassroots, human-centered organization created FOR and BY those directly impacted by family policing—also known as the child welfare system or child protective services—nationwide.

We are a collective force of community members, activists, and change-makers committed to supporting, protecting, and strengthening families. The Coalition works to educate, advocate, and heal those most affected by family separation and systemic intervention.

Through initiatives focused on education, direct support services, and holistic healing, the Coalition is dedicated to rebuilding family units and strengthening communities. Our mission is to empower families, disrupt harmful systems, and create pathways for lasting change.

"We Got Us"
"We Got Us" is more than a phrase—it’s the foundation of The MJCF Coalition. In a system designed to separate, criminalize, and undermine families, we stand together as a community committed to education, advocacy, and healing. We don’t wait for the system to save us—we protect, uplift, and empower each other. Through collective action, shared knowledge, and unwavering support, we rebuild what was stolen and strengthen what remains. At MJCF, we got us—because when families and communities unite, we become an unstoppable force for justice and change.
