Family Advocacy Program
In 2025, The MJCF Coalition launched the Family Advocacy Program.
A dedicated initiative providing community doula services and critical support to individuals and families navigating the family policing system
(also known as the child welfare or child protection services system).
Our mission is to educate, empower, and advocate for families facing unjust governmental intervention, forced separation, or systemic barriers to reunification.
We provide families with the tools, knowledge, and resources needed to navigate child welfare cases while advocating for policies that prioritize family preservation and justice.​​​
We Provide Webinars & Informational Sessions Including:

Parent Resources – Access to educational materials, community support, and legal guidance.

Recovery Support Services – Connecting families with mental health, substance use recovery, and trauma-informed care resources to support reunification efforts.

Case Strategy Education & Know Your Rights Workshops – Helping parents understand their rights and build effective strategies to navigate the system.

Through our Family Advocacy Program, we are building a movement that supports, protects, and fights for families impacted by the family policing system.
